AF METERS, SAFETY SWITCHES, TOOLS
modern technology MAKES TUNING A BREEZE!
Trying to read sparkplugs can be very difficult or impossible unless you are trying to jet for WOT (wide open throttle). Partial throttle tuning can be done quickly using oxygen sensors.
We now offer the Ballenger AFR500v3, which can handle leaded race fuel along with the PE ltd AFR meter which uses your compatible smart phone via bluetooth for the display.
Both meters have data logging outputs.

What does an oxygen sensor do?
- Air-Fuel (AF or AFR) sensors measure and display rich or lean conditions
- Precise measurement of air-fuel ratios aide in tuning for reliability and performance
- Using exhaust "smoke" is unreliable as a tuning method
- A meter allows troubleshooting such as a carburetor or fuel pump issues
- Allows tuning from low to high rpm without additional tools
- Maximizes performance without paying for dyno runs
